If you have ever been to an exhibition there is a good chance that you were exposed to one of the retractable banner stands which were created by Displays Direct. These banners are intended to be used during conferences as a separator, for corporate events that require some form of advertisement and or separation and any other situation that call for some form of structural division, making this an ideal opportunity for banners such as these.

The great thing about  retractable banner stands  is the ability to provide replacement displays, especially when a sign becomes obsolete or the promotion period is over. When the event handler realizes what the requirements are, arrangements can be made to have the banner completed in a timely manner. There are several options for the  positioning of these banners and with that in mind, the event manager has only to determine which one best suits their needs.

Number 17 in this series takes the viewer to the Shell Camp in Penal around 1957 with some shots of the Club and in what is becoming a regular sight in these films, the trunk of the Opel Kapitan is once again being loaded with booze! Included is a visit to Penal Market. I think these shots are beautiful as they capture an integral part of life in Trinidad in the 1950s – the market. Look at the shots carefully. Our family picks up their greens and we see the boys unloading some melons at their bungalow at the T&TEC Camp. Follows a short trip through Forest Reserve Camp and a stop at Allum’s Grocery store where mother does the shopping. I don’t remember Allum’s but our camp, Apex, had Grell’s grocery at the entrance to the field. After the amalgamation of most of the fields, Grell’s became HiLo, a very well known grocery chain in Trinidad.
