Some years ago, scientists decided that it was time to begin cloning other living things and while their initial reasoning for such an action was admirable, the resulting issues that were derived from this embarkation was anything but, in my opinion anyway. There are certain things that we as human beings should not be venturing into, the creation of another living thing is one of them. This behavior leads to a very cocky civilization, with no exceptions. The reasoning for my accusations is simple, human beings do not know when to put on the brakes, so we should expect many more cloning episodes in the future.
Scientists have suggested that there motives for cloning was just for assisting them in finding a cure for certain diseases, however, I am unsure whether they are big enough to stick to the agenda. Finding the cure for certain diseases is one thing, creating human beings, or as some science fiction movies out of Hollywood have suggested, the plan is to create a stronger breed of human being. Whether or not such a feat is even possible, (most things coming from Hollywood have materialized) we should consider the fact that such a creation would be stepping dangerously close to being blasphemy.
Whether you are a Christian or not, (forget atheist) you have to see something morally wrong with this picture. We have one creator and that is God, so every time we try to match wits with him, (which is what cloning is) we are telling him that we would prefer that he did not stick around. For those who are not fluent in the bible, never mind, let me bring you up to date, in the book of Genesis it says that we came from dust and so we shall return. It seems as though some scientists are determined to write their own history and eventual demise.
