For as long as I can remember I have been purchasing movies from different sources to build my movie database. When video cassettes began to decline with the introduction of DVD’s I immediately phased out my videos and replaced them with the newer option. I have never paid good money to rent or purchase a movie from a company that opted to have their information handwritten on the disc, in fact if I were to observe such a copy I could only surmise that the product was bootlegged and someone was trying to make a dollar through methods that could be considered as anything but legitimate. Movies are produced by big companies in Hollywood and other parts of the world and of course they do it to make a profit. I do not feel as though it is responsible of me to purchase a copy of a bootlegged movie from anyone trying to make a dollar, that would only be supporting someone who is stealing to survive.
