I wonder why we continue allowing ourselves to reach at a breaking point (where the country could suffer) at almost every turn? I continue to watch in utter dismay as our leaders approach deadline after deadline as they try to keep up with the nations debt. As we all seem to be painfully aware, these conflicts are not in the least bit productive for this country, especially when it involves bringing the country to the brink of a total financial meltdown. As a recently formed super-committee of Democrats and Republicans meet behind closed doors, we can only hope that they will get it right this time, and we will not be subjected to another dose of pepto bismal in the months down the road.
