I’m a teacher. Why am I telling you this? Because teachers aren’t supposed to travel. I didn’t go through years of training and thousands of dollars in college tuition just so I would have to spend more money to travel. But based on my situation, I have to travel for some ridiculous teacher training for First Aid and CPR. Okay, that’s not ridiculous training. It’s actually very important. What’s ridiculous is that I have to travel 100 miles to get to the training. But I guess that’s what happens when you live in the Pennsylvania boonies. I’ll be honest with you. I didn’t sign up for teaching to help kids. I signed up because I would have a ton of time off. Who in their right mind would want to work their butt off every day? I want to enjoy life. Thats why I moved to this area from New York City. I can actually hear the birds and see the raccoons. Yes, we have raccoons. But I’m getting a little off topic. What I have to do is mentally prepare for a long drive this Thursday. Once I set my home security alarm from Home Alarm Expert, I’m going to take off and drive to the training with the right attitude. I will reward myself with a good Subway sandwich on the way home. I guess that will be my reward. How exciting. The Author of this post is Cheryl Martinez Republish: ITSOGS 10/6/10
