About 350 miles north of the Canadian/American border is the city of Edmonton, where a wide range of rental properties are available through Edmonton rentals. I have never been this far west before and although I have some family members that live closer to Edmonton than I do, most of my trips to Canada were centered around the city of Toronto and Mississauga. With the right incentive, relocating to Edmonton could be an easy option for most people.
With West Edmonton mall in its own back yard, I could probably spend most of my time there without even becoming home sick for warmer weather. Known to house the worlds largest water-slides, this humongous mall has managed to offer the people of Edmonton an action packed area, where they can eat, drink, play hard and shop, all within walking distance of each other.
One of the drawing points, for me anyway, would be the fact that I was closer to some of my family members, making it easier to drop by on weekends and special holidays. Don't think for one moment that the mall is the only sight to see in Edmonton, surely you jest, there are many other attractions, such as the Alberta Railway Museum and Fort Edmonton Park, just to name a few. Make your next trip to Canada, one that includes Edmonton, you may end up staying longer than you think.
