I will never understand why some women allow themselves to become pregnant, whether accidentally or otherwise. Motherhood can be a scary experience for someone who has no desire to be a mother. There are many pregnant women who care more about their personal relationships than about their unborn babies. In a recent judgment by the Alabama Supreme court, it was determined that the death of an unborn child can be considered as a wrongful death. This opens up a whole new set of questions about abortion and whether a mother found murdering her unborn child could face court imposed penalties. It is unlikely that this case will have an impact on future abortion issues, although one can never tell. The choices that we make when we decide to live promiscuously can have a major effect on our kids, whether they are yet to be born, or through their lifetime.
