Avoiding the red light camera

I was first introduced to the concept of cameras at red light intersections in the late 1990′s. I was driving through Europe (in the northern area) and was not paying attention to the traffic light ahead. As I recall, my ex-wife and myself were looking for some establishment and it was not until I was in the intersection that I realized I had been snapped. Until that time, I had never even heard about something that could catch me running a red light, and to be perfectly honest, I did not care for it. The city of Los Angeles has tried and decided to give up its camera lights and it is causing some controversy among drivers who have been snapped. My love of flying has been affected since September 11th, and these days I fear that every time I approach a red light, I am always on the lookout for those annoying cameras.
