Why is it that whenever the United states of America has a problem meeting its budget requirements the first thing the Democrats look to do is to raise taxes? Look, I realize that things are not always what they seem to the small man in the street but I also know that when we spend more than we make we have a problem and that problem can only be solved in one of two ways. Don’t tell me that everything is not black and white because I am aware of that fact, but instead of asking for more taxes, how about cutting some of those expenses (many that are designed to keep leaders in office). The latest news is that congress will be expected to raise the debt ceiling so it’s their turn to help dig a deeper hole for the people of this country. Is there no end in sight?
