Although I was not born here in the United States I will admit that I find Native American Culture to be very fascinating. It is a culture that goes back long before I even got here and will be here long after I leave this place. The close knit relationships between these individuals have shown over the years that the importance of family is what its all about.
Native American Tribes exist in almost every state and although there is much to be said for the changes that had to be adapted through the years the end result still stays the same. Canada has fewer tribes that North America yet they still proudly have at least a dozen across the nation. There are several native American colleges to choose from for those who wish to increase their knowledge or simply maintain the facts about their history that may have been lost through the years.
While it may not be necessary to learn about Native American Culture it is certainly something that we should all know a little about if only for the sake of expanding our cultural expertise. For those who wish to delve a little deeper a website by the name of Powwows.com is a great place to increase your knowledge and maybe even do a little shopping while you are there.
If you are not favored by Google whether its is in your page ranking or your search engine position the chances are that you will be unrecognized in a sea of billions of competitors on the Internet. The fact that Google wields this much power has caused a major investigation into the practices of the Internet giant by the Federal Trade Commission. Whether you make your voice heard or you remain silent there is little doubt that anything that you say or do will affect how Google operates and that fact can be attributed to its High income contribution on the Internet today. As in the case of Microsoft, Google saw a need and filled, should they be penalized for it because they were successful, only time will tell.
As an individual who expects to be ready for retirement in the not too distant future I guess I should be concerned with the possibility that Federal entitlements may not be available for me when it is my turn. But what exactly is our beloved leader doing to solve this problem, that is the $120 trillion dollar question especially since he appears to have done nothing so far. Without a strong job market there is insufficient tax revenue to reduce the debt along increasing the national debt even further. From this point onwards and at least until Obama is returned to office for a second term we can expect much of his time to be spent on fund-raising and stroking the egos of those he hopes to be in his corner. Maybe he can use some of the money he gains to help reduce the national debt, that is certain to get him brownie points with the voters.
By the very nature of the position that they were elected to the President of the United States is granted all sorts of powers to effect the job properly, however much of those powers are predetermined and set up in such a way that accountability must be given by the President. For some reason (maybe a power rush) the President can overstep their allowable power which can be caused by unforeseen problems like the war in Libya. The fact of the matter is that as “commander in Chief” our fearless leader always looks for a way deal with problems of war and in some instances those decisions could just as easily cause a problem in Washington.
When we decide that a Presidential run is in the cards one of the first things that needs to be considered is where are the skeletons and how many are there. Along with those dicey titbit’s we also need to be aware of who has privy to this information and can they harm you with it. A historic presentation it may not be but when Minnesota Republican Michele Bachmann decided to throw her hat in the ring to be the first elected female President of the United States with special emphasis on government spending she should have recalled the fact that through her partnership in a family farm in Wisconsin she has accepted close to $30,000.00 in government assistance.
