What is it about purchasing
life insurance that scares so many people, is it the fact that represents a part of life that we would prefer to avoid or are we just concerned about the added cost to our budget, whatever the reason, as important as it is, it should be embraced if only for the consideration for those we leave behind.
When deciding to add a
life insurance policy to your portfolio, there a few items that you may wish to consider, not the least of which is the dollar amount that your beneficiary will receive in the event of your demise. If there are no children to consider, a huge cash settlement may not be necessary, unless of course you really love your wife and prefer not to think of her wanting for anything after you leave this earth.

For those who do not already know, temptation is an act of Satan and not our Creator. Fighting temptations can be one of the most difficult things to do if you do not have the Holy Spirit on your side and even then it is next to impossible. After Jesus was tempted Himself by the great deceiver, He realized how difficult it was for him and while that does not give us a free pass to sin as we want to, we must still deal with the issues of temptation as a child of God. The great thing about our slips and slides is the fact that we have already been forgiven, however, we must ask for that forgiveness through the blood of our Savior.

If you ever come close to experiencing death, chances are that you will know just what I am talking about. It is at this time that we realize just how mortal and vulnerable we can be. I have heard the question many times where a non believer is asked if they can be sure that with a gun to their head that at the next step they will be opening their eyes in heaven. It is usually at this point that it dawns on us that we must do something. It seems as though when contact is made through the Holy Spirit, it is only then that we give our life to Jesus Christ.

Everywhere you turn you can see individuals that care little or nothing about how they communicate with others. As they leave the comforts of their own homes they dress as though their parents cannot afford to provide them with appropriate clothing. The new fashion by many teenagers is wearing the pants down by their knees an act that simply shows that they are losing respect for anyone but themselves. When someone is looking to be respected by others they should always remember that it is how they treat others they will be treated. If you disrespect others (and yourself) then don’t be surprised when others don’t show you that respect.

I recently posted a video entitled beautiful colors which I managed to produce from an email that came to me, what struck me as extremely positive about this video was the way it centered around the reason why we can appreciate all this beauty. When you really stop and think about it there is no comparison to the beauty that our Creator has placed in front of us. Human beings have a way of taking credit for everything around them whether it is the buildings that they create or a painting that resulted from the flowing of creative juices. The bottom line is, if God did not give us the ability to do all of this we would be failures, so maybe we should consider acknowledging His part in all of this.
