All who walk by this standard are the true chosen people.

During the years of my Christian conversion, I have been reminded time and again that what I do for me is meaningless. It is all about the mission, and that is telling as many others about what they are missing (and can acquire for FREE) in accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. “Then Jesus went to work on his disciples. “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat; I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I’ll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What kind of deal is it to get everything you want but lose yourself? What could you ever trade your soul for?” (MATTHEW)
One of the most important things that I learned after accepting Jesus Christ is the fact that nothing I do with him will fail, however, everything I attempt without him will fail, unless it was his idea anyway. Some of you reading this blog may consider that as a sign of weakness, where I must depend on someone else to survive, but to them I simply say, to know Him is to believe in Him. “If you don’t go all the way with me, through thick and thin, you don’t deserve me. If your first concern is to look after yourself, you’ll never find yourself. But if you forget about yourself and look to me, you’ll find both yourself and me.” (MATTHEW)
As some of you who read my articles on a regular basis and  know me will attest, there is nothing in my life more important than being a follower of Jesus Christ, I can only hope that someday you will feel the same way. “For my part, I am going to boast about nothing but the Cross of our Master, Jesus Christ. Because of that Cross, I have been crucified in relation to the world, set free from the stifling atmosphere of pleasing others and fitting into the little patterns that they dictate. Can’t you see the central issue in all this? It is not what you and I do, submit to circumcision, reject circumcision. It is what God is doing, and he is creating something totally new, a free life! All who walk by this standard are the true Israel of God, his chosen people. Peace and mercy on them!” (GALATIANS)

They would not have to accept anything that the Bible tell us.

There is some speculation my members of the scientific community that this world has evolved  from some sort of pr-historic life, while human beings have been generated by monkeys or chimpanzees, what a crock. I have a hard time understanding how anyone could be so naive to think that all that we see around us could possibly have evolved,  especially since (according to their claim) the world was so ugly and baron before. “First this: God created the Heavens and Earth, all you see, all you don’t see. Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness. God’s Spirit brooded like a bird above the watery abyss.” (GENESIS)
I guess, for those who believe otherwise, it would make more sense to disprove the fact that the earth has a creator, because then they would not have to accept anything that the Bible tell us. If only it were that simple for them! “God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth.” God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female. God blessed them: “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth.” (GENESIS)
I once met this individual who indicated to me that he was interested in learning about the bible. Naturally, I obliged him by setting up some sessions to talk about it. It seems as though this individual (who shall remain nameless) was more interested in disproving the fact that bible was authentic and proceeded to bring with him a book that was written by a scientist. Isn’t it amazing how someone can believe something written by one human being about things that happened in the past, instead of a book that was written by many authors and inspired by God about things that were prophesied and have since come true? “God’s glory is on tour in the skies, God-craft on exhibit across the horizon. Madame Day holds classes every morning, Professor Night lectures each evening. The skies were made by God’s command; he breathed the word and the stars popped out. He scooped Sea into his jug, put Ocean in his keg.” (PSALMS)

We entered the world penniless and will leave it penniless.

Today’s society is bent on furthering their personal ambitions, with little concern for who and what they have to step on to gain their advancement. Like crabs in a barrel, many today are so aggressive in furthering their careers that they lose sight of why they were interested in personal advancement in the first place. What we should be asking ourselves is this, what exactly is happiness to us? What do we need to have in our lives to reach that goal and strive towards it, however our goals should not be at the cost of so many other important issues in our lives. “A simple life in the Fear-of-God is better than a rich life with a ton of headaches.” (PROVERBS)
Unfortunately many of our goals take away from the simpler things in life, such as breathing, loving and caring for our family. “I’m glad in God, far happier than you would ever guess, happy that you’re again showing such strong concern for me. Not that you ever quit praying and thinking about me. You just had no chance to show it. Actually, I don’t have a sense of needing anything personally. I’ve learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I’m just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I’ve found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. I don’t mean that your help didn’t mean a lot to me, it did. It was a beautiful thing that you came alongside me in my troubles.” (PHILIPPIANS)
Happiness should never be measured by what we acquire, with respect to worldly achievements, in fact happiness should be measured by our relationship with God and our success in bringing and keeping our family in a God filled environment. Sooner or later we will realize what really is important, unfortunately for many, that time is relentlessly too late. “A devout life does bring wealth, but it’s the rich simplicity of being yourself before God. Since we entered the world penniless and will leave it penniless, if we have bread on the table and shoes on our feet, that’s enough.” (1 TIMOTHY)
