In all the years that I have been following the bible and more so its prophecies, I can never understand how it is that we just don’t see what is right under our noses. Satan has been very successful in keeping us sidelined from learning the truth and watching for the changes as they occur.  Bible scholars will attest that we have precious little time to correct our languishing souls, and if we refuse to act on what we see happening before us, then we have nobody to blame but ourselves if we end up in the lake of fire, right alongside the Wiley one.

In the book of Daniel it states, “‘Then for one seven, he will forge many and strong alliances, but halfway through the seven he will banish worship and prayers. At the place of worship, a desecrating obscenity will be set up and remain until finally the desecrator himself is decisively destroyed.’” “Up on your feet! Take a deep breath! Maybe there’s life in you yet. But I wouldn’t know it by looking at your busywork; nothing of God’s work has been completed. Your condition is desperate. Think of the gift you once had in your hands, the Message you heard with your ears, grasp it again and turn back to God. “If you pull the covers back over your head and sleep on, oblivious to God, I’ll return when you least expect it, break into your life like a thief in the night.”

Every time (as I expect here) I decide to mention the fact that the signs are around us, I get some anti bible scholar and Anti Christ who are upset that I am showing what He inspires me to show. If I did not know better, I would develop a complex by that, but praise the Lord, I know (as many of you do) what is important and what is not. Always Remember, Just as Satan has his well wishers, so God has his army. We already know who will win in this one.

I have always wondered how come some people get away with pretty much anything that they want to while others can’t even get caught jay walking and they find themselves being beat up by the police. How is it that someone gets classed into that special and elite class that allows them to be considered as “above the Law”? At first I thought it was because of the color of your skin, then I realized very quickly (after the Juice Fiasco) that it could not have been that. Following that I was inclined to believe that it applied to those who have money, that of course does not apply to every situation. Then I thought, it must be your standing in the community (or someone close to you) that is the deciding factor.

The book of Ezekiel relates, “‘Your leaders, the princes of Israel among you, compete in crime. You’re a community that’s insolent to parents, abusive to outsiders, oppressive against orphans and widows. You treat my holy things with contempt and desecrate my Sabbaths. You have people spreading lies and spilling blood, flocking to the hills to the sex shrines and fornicating unrestrained. Incest is common. Men force themselves on women regardless of whether they’re ready or willing. Sex is now anarchy. Anyone is fair game: neighbor, daughter-in-law, sister. Murder is for hire, usury is rampant, extortion is commonplace. “‘And you’ve forgotten me. Decree of God, the Master.”

Why is it that different people are subjected to different versions of the law, that is my question? Please don’t feed me that hogwash about this being the standard procedure for this kind of crime, because it is a known fact that what happened here was settled even before it made it to court. I guess it helps that the position of her father was that of  great in the judicial system, however, be that as it may, it smells of favoritism.

In the unlikely event that we in the United States have any reason to believe that the worst is over, let me direct you to the various incidents that have been raising their ugly heads around the world recently. The two Yemenis who were arrested in Amsterdam, obviously had an agenda, one that I suspect will come to light as soon as members of the central intelligence agency get their hands on them.  Because of the fact that there were no explosive devices present, I tend to agree with the popular sentiment that these two individuals were testing the response time of the United States and other authorities. As it stands right now though, they are guilty of nothing other than leaving some junk items on an international flight.

In the Book of Ezra, he prays, “My dear God, I’m so totally ashamed, I can’t bear to face you. O my God, our iniquities are piled up so high that we can’t see out; our guilt touches the skies. We’ve been stuck in a muck of guilt since the time of our ancestors until right now; we and our kings and priests, because of our sins, have been turned over to foreign kings, to killing, to captivity, to looting, and to public shame, just as you see us now.”

When acts of this sort become public, these are the times when members of the Muslim community should raise their voice and be heard. These are the times when America should see the Muslim nation that call it home, stand in the synagogues, at the street corners, at the coffee shops, and at the mountain tops letting their American brothers and sisters know that they disagree with what they see going on.  It is because the Muslim community remains silent at these crucial times that Americans are so concerned when they see them increasing their presence, it is the sum of all fears.

The use of drugs in this country has long since been a problem and it not only causes family chaos but also deals several blows to members of the police force and prison systems. I have been saying for as long as I can remember, that we as a society are not doing enough to deal with the problem at its root, hence the reason for its drastic spread. Drug use generates the worst in people, both criminal and civil alike. Because of the money to be made, we have experienced some of the most heinous kinds of criminals that this world has ever seen, and now we have caught one of them.

Isaiah tells us in chapter fifty one, “So wake up! Rub the sleep from your eyes! Up on your feet, Jerusalem! You’ve drunk the cup God handed you, the strong drink of his anger. You drank it down to the last drop, staggered and collapsed, dead-drunk. And nobody to help you home, no one among your friends or children to take you by the hand and put you in bed. You’ve been hit with a double dose of trouble, does anyone care? Assault and battery, hunger and death, will anyone comfort? Your sons and daughters have passed out, strewn in the streets like stunned rabbits, Sleeping off the strong drink of God’s anger, the rage of your God.”

Many decades ago, our biggest problem was alcohol and how to stop people from making their own brew, also known as “moonshine”. The law adjusted its acceptance for drinking and now we have drivers under the influence causing mayhem on the streets of our nation. Recently we saw an expansion of the use of marijuana in certain states, making it available at several corners. Should we now expect a legalization of cocaine use in our future, after all that does seem to be our trend?

So Halloween is just around the corner and I guess we can expect all the children to come out in there numbers to run door to door for the annual candy parade. Before the big event, however, you can bet that the parents will be engaged in fist fights when they go out shopping for the costumes that they want to see their children dressed in. The problem that they usually encounter is this, many of them do not have the time to comparison shop, leaving everything until the last minute.

I have been seriously thinking about updating my office so that I can be a bit more comfortable, however, being the “penny pincher” that I am, I will not shop anywhere that cannot provide me with some of the best price savings. I am not anxious to go out to the malls or the office stores if I can avoid it, because I always find myself buying stuff that I really do not need and in addition, I waste entirely too much time in traffic. This time I am going to outsmart everyone else and do my shopping right here at my computer.

I have been introduced to an excellent online company that does the comparison shopping for me. With an online presence that caters for anyone, even customers that do not speak English, they are sure to have everything that I could possibly need.
