You’ll also remember that I told you the Anarchist is being held back until just the right time. That doesn’t mean that the spirit of anarchy is not now at work. It is, secretly and underground. But the time will come when the Anarchist will no longer be held back, but will be let loose. But don’t worry. The Master Jesus will be right on his heels and blow him away. The Master appears and, puff!—the Anarchist is out of there.

I looked at the earth, it was back to Pre-Genesis chaos and emptiness. I looked at the skies, and not a star to be seen. I looked at the mountains, they were trembling like aspen leaves, And all the hills rocking back and forth in the wind. I looked, what’s this! Not a man or woman in sight, and not a bird to be seen in the skies. I looked, this can’t be! Every garden and orchard shriveled up. All the towns were ghost towns. And all this because of God, because of the blazing anger of God.

God’s readiness to give and forgive is now public. Salvation’s available for everyone! We’re being shown how to turn our backs on a godless, indulgent life, and how to take on a God-filled, God-honoring life. This new life is starting right now, and is whetting our appetites for the glorious day when our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, appears. He offered himself as a sacrifice to free us from a dark, rebellious life into this good, pure life, making us a people he can be proud of, energetic in goodness.

Everyone has to die once, then face the consequences. Christ’s death was also a one-time event, but it was a sacrifice that took care of sins forever. And so, when he next appears, the outcome for those eager to greet him is, precisely, salvation.

Take a lesson from the fig tree. From the moment you notice its buds form, the merest hint of green, you know summer’s just around the corner. So it is with you: When you see all these things, you’ll know he’s at the door. Don’t take this lightly. I’m not just saying this for some future generation, but for all of you. This age continues until all these things take place. Sky and earth will wear out; my words won’t wear out.

In actual fact, they’ll be ahead of us. The Master himself will give the command. Archangel thunder! God’s trumpet blast! He’ll come down from heaven and the dead in Christ will rise, they’ll go first. Then the rest of us who are still alive at the time will be caught up with them into the clouds to meet the Master. Oh, we’ll be walking on air! And then there will be one huge family reunion with the Master. So reassure one another with these words.

John wrote to the seven churches in Asia province: All the best to you from The God Who Is, The God Who Was, and The God About to Arrive, and from the Seven Spirits assembled before his throne, and from Jesus Christ, Loyal Witness, Firstborn from the dead, Ruler of all earthly kings. Glory and strength to Christ, who loves us, who blood-washed our sins from our lives, Who made us a Kingdom, Priests for his Father, forever, and yes, he’s on his way! Riding the clouds, he’ll be seen by every eye, those who mocked and killed him will see him, People from all nations and all times will tear their clothes in lament. Oh, Yes.

First off, you need to know that in the last days, mockers are going to have a heyday. Reducing everything to the level of their puny feelings, they’ll mock, “So what’s happened to the promise of his Coming? Our ancestors are dead and buried, and everything’s going on just as it has from the first day of creation. Nothing’s changed.” This is a confidential report, Daniel, for your eyes and ears only. Keep it secret. Put the book under lock and key until the end. In the interim there is going to be a lot of frantic running around, trying to figure out what’s going on.’

Later as he was sitting on Mount Olives, his disciples approached and asked him, “Tell us, when are these things going to happen? What will be the sign of your coming, that the time’s up?”

Jesus said, “Watch out for doomsday deceivers. Many leaders are going to show up with forged identities, claiming, ‘I am Christ, the Messiah.’ They will deceive a lot of people. When reports come in of wars and rumored wars, keep your head and don’t panic. This is routine history; this is no sign of the end. Nation will fight nation and ruler fight ruler, over and over. Famines and earthquakes will occur in various places. This is nothing compared to what is coming.

Staying with it, that’s what God requires. Stay with it to the end. You won’t be sorry, and you’ll be saved. All during this time, the good news, the Message of the kingdom, will be preached all over the world, a witness staked out in every country. And then the end will come.

Since they didn’t bother to acknowledge God, God quit bothering them and let them run loose. And then all hell broke loose: rampant evil, grabbing and grasping, vicious backstabbing. They made life hell on earth with their envy, wanton killing, bickering, and cheating. Look at them: mean-spirited, venomous, fork-tongued God-bashers. Bullies, swaggerer’s, insufferable windbags! They keep inventing new ways of wrecking lives. They ditch their parents when they get in the way. Stupid, slimy, cruel, cold-blooded. And it’s not as if they don’t know better. They know perfectly well they’re spitting in God’s face. And they don’t care, worse, they hand out prizes to those who do the worst things best!

Jesus announced a series of signs that would remind us of his approaching return to earth. His followers need to keep in mind, seven points about his second coming;
1) – Countless Angels will accompany the Lord. He will not come alone.
2) – He will arrive in the clouds and every eye shall see him. The second advent will not be in secret.
3) – The dead who have accepted Christ as their Savior, will rise first in the resurrection.
4) – The righteous living who are still alone at the second advent will be caught up with the resurrected dead to meet the Lord in the air.
5) – The wicked living are destroyed.
6) – The wicked dead will remain in their graves for 1,000 years.
7) – The righteous will reign with Christ for 1,000 years.

And that’s just the beginning: After that, “I will pour out my Spirit on every kind of people: Your sons will prophesy, also your daughters. Your old men will dream, your young men will see visions. I’ll even pour out my Spirit on the servants, men and women both. I’ll set wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth below: Blood and fire and billowing smoke, the sun turning black and the moon blood-red, Before the Judgment Day of God, the Day tremendous and awesome. Whoever calls, ‘Help, God!’ gets help. On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be a great rescue, just as God said. Included in the survivors are those that God calls.”

Don’t be naive. There are difficult times ahead. As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed, money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God. They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re animals. Stay clear of these people.

Because of my interest and dedication in remaining a child of God, ever since I became a Christian, I have persistently tried to maintain a dedication to His Word. Keeping in mind that daily study can actually become a nightmare due to all the distractions that Satan continually places in front of you, to accomplish this exercise is in itself almost impossible. In order to be successful, you must be dedicated and it would help if you intertwine your studies within your culture.

When I made the decision to enter into the world of blogging, the topics were not difficult to come up with. The fact of the matter is, because I kept my world wrapped up around the word of God, it was only natural that any blog site that I became involved in, would have to be related to our Creator and our Savior. But rather than come off like a preacher and in keeping with the fact that I try to follow His teaching as close as I can, again it was only natural that topics would also relate to other things, such as Politics, Travel, Legal, Health and family matters.

Even though my blogs are actually Christian blogs, hence the names ‘His Treasures And Presence’, and ‘ITSOGS’ (in the service of God still), readers will observe that they are not only about Christianity, but are also about Christian living and ideas. Thank you all for your continued support.
