In an island filled with such beauty and sunshine, it is hard to imagine that there could be any heinous acts to disrupt your expected perfect vacation. Unfortunately crime, like in most other countries is rampant in Jamaica too. Kidnapping has been around for sometime now, and while many prefer not to report it due to special instructions from the kidnappers, that certainly does to change the fact that you need to be on the lookout.

The Jamaican authorities are doing what they can to curb this rather disturbing trend, however, even though they are arresting aggressors as they find them, there are those who get away to kidnap again another day.
